As you hopefully know by now, you can see the show three ways: in person at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass., on DIRECTV, and on FarmAid.org (both live and commercial-free!). If you're coming to this year's show, there's a few things we'd like you to know. This year, we're happy to have partnered with The Greater Boston Food Bank, and we're calling on concertgoers to bring non-perishable food items to the concert on Saturday. As a result of rising fuel and food prices and uncertain economic times, food banks nationwide are facing increasing shortages of supplies this fall and winter. To help meet the needs of the hungry across the Boston-area, please bring your food items to be collected at the main entrance to the Comcast Center (click here for guidelines on what you should and should not bring). At the concert, we hope everyone will enjoy the food as much as we plan to! When's the last time you had local, organic, humanely-raised, and family-farm food at a concert? See our blog post for a preview of some of the items on the menu. To go along with all the great food, we're pleased that we've got compostable plates, serviceware, napkins, and food waste will all be composted. Finally, we'd like to take a quick moment to thank all of the sponsors that help make this year's concert possible:Whole Foods MarketToy FarmerHorizon OrganicPeak Organic Brewing CompanySilk SoymilkSteazDIRECTVMaria & Ricardo's Tortilla FactoryTretornOrganic PrairiePet PromiseStone Hearth Pizza Co.T.F.
